About Me

Cllr Faisal Khan

I was born in the city of Bradford, and studied here . I went to St Lukes CofE Primary school in Eccleshill, the now abolished middle school of Tyersal. I did my GCE ‘O’ levels at Fairfax, A levels at Tong, Degree in London and then back home to do my Masters at Bradford University.

I spent a number of years working in Salisbury and Newcastle under Lyme, which took me across the globe to  Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Japan, China, Sweden, Denmark and closer to home throughout the UK. I initially started my career as a Manufacturing systems engineer, progressing to to logistics systems manager. I currently work in Huddersfield as an Information Systems Project Manger and I’m also a councillor for Bradford Moor which is in Bradford East.

I was elected for four years in May 2012

I am currently on the Children’s Services Overview & Scrutiny Committee and I am alternate on the Bradford East Area Committee. I am heavily involved in Education and was a governor for 8 years until I was unceremoniously removed as part of the Trojan hoax affair from the two local secondary schools. This included 4 years as Chair of Governors at Carlton Bolling College.
